DiBona Named Second Team IWLCA All-Northeast Region

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's lacrosse senior Alyssa DiBona (Media, Pa.) was named to the IWLCA All-Northeast Region Second Team in an announcement made by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association.

All 128 Division I student-athletes honored are now eligible for inclusion on the IWLCA All-American teams that will be announced on May 18.

DiBona, a spirited defensive midfielder, earns Second Team recognition after finishing second in the Ivy League with 57 draw controls and first on the Bears in ground balls (24) and caused turnovers (14). Her 57 draw controls rank third on the team's all-time single-season records list, while her 114 career controls rank fourth all-time. Last month, DiBona was recognized by the league with Second Team All-Ivy distinction.

DiBona's inclusion on the second team marks the third consecutive season the Bears have earned at least one IWLCA All-Northeast Region selection.
