MANCHESTER, Mass. – The No. 63 Brown women's tennis team recorded a gritty 4-3 win over Florida International on Saturday at the Manchester Athletic Club.

The Bears improve to 6-2 this season, while the Panthers drop to 2-5 overall in dual match play.

After FIU stole the doubles point, Hannah Camhi, Ammu Mandalap, and Alyza Benotto scored straight set victories to give Brown a 3-1 lead in the match. FIU rallied to claim the No. 1 and No. 4 singles matches to even things up at three, setting the stage for Nikita Uberoi's 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 clinching win in the No. 6 slot.

Up next, the Bears return to action next Saturday to host the University of Houston beginning at 10 a.m.
