EAST HARTFORD, Conn. – The No. 63 Brown women's tennis team continued its strong play with a resounding 7-0 blanking of Connecticut on Tuesday at the East Hartford Tennis Center.
The Bears, winners of three in a row, improve to 5-2 after jumping seven spots in this week's ITA team rankings.
Brown claimed the doubles point after the tandems of Dayna Lord/Alyza Benotto and Hannah Camhi/Maddie Stearns defeated their UConn counterparts. In singles play, the Bears swept all six matches, with four of those wins coming in straight sets.
