PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown University women's soccer senior Charlotte Beach, has earned a spot in the 2015 NEWISA Senior Bowl as the leading vote getter among midfielders, the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association announced.
A native of New Haven, Conn., Beach controlled play in the midfield for the Bears throughout the 2015 season, starting every game on the year for the second straight season. She concluded her career with 67 games played and 56 games started and posted a career-best 29 shots this past fall. Beach garnered Second Team All-Ivy honors this past season and Honorable Mention accolades in 2014.
The 2015 NEWISA Senior Bowl will take place on the campus of Merrimack College in North Andover, Mass., on Saturday, Dec. 5 at noon.
The Wilbur Cross High School product helped the Bears finish the year with a three-game Ivy winning streak in the final season in the career of 39-year head coach Phil Pincince.
