Gorab, a team co-captain who holds a 3.72 grade point average, has started all 13 games this season and leads the Bears with three assists. The Business Economics concentrator earned First-Team All-Ivy recognition last season and started all 16 games for the Bears. The midfielder tied for the team lead with 10 points and led the way with six assists to go along with a pair of goals. He notched double-digit points for the second time in as many seasons after starting 16 games as a sophomore. He was also given the Heinz Kubel Award after the season, awarded to the team's top offensive player.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence – community, classroom, character and competition. An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School®, the Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities.
