Last Time Out
Brown (7-5-1, 2-1-1 Ivy) returns to Providence after back-to-back conference games on the road, when the Bears fell at Harvard and topped Cornell in a pair of 1-0 decisions. Rookie Matthew Chow scored the lone tally for the Bears in the win over the Big Red on Saturday, scoring on a corner kick for his third goal of the season. Freshman Teo Norhagen recorded his second start of the season and second shutout while Brown's defense never allowed a shot on net the entire game.
Scouting the River Hawks
UMass Lowell heads into Tuesday night's game at 7-6-1 overall and 2-2-1 in America East play. The River Hawks will meet Brown in the tail end of a three-game road swing after falling at Albany, 2-1, and playing Vermont to a scoreless tie on Saturday. Wuilito Fernandes paces Lowell in goals (4), assists (3) and points (11), and was a First Team All-Conference selection last season. He also has three game-winning goals this season. Austin Kroll has played every minute of every game in net for a 7-6-1 record, along with a 1.05 GAA and a .722 save percentage.
Defensively Speaking
Brown is ranked second defensively in conference play this season as the Bears trail only Dartmouth with a 0.71 goals against average in four Ivy League contests.
