Quechee, Vt. – The Brown men's golf team shot a 36-hole 626 to place 10th at the Quechee Club Invitational, played at the par-72, 6,800 yard Quechee Club. Senior captain led the Bears with a two-round, two-over par 146.
Harvard paced the field by eight shots, shooting 574. Hartford placed second at 582, followed by Connecticut (594), Temple (595), Princeton (597), Penn (599), Dartmouth B (600), Cornell (601), Dartmouth (610), Brown (626) and Fordham (635).
Miller placed 10th individually after opening with an even par 72, followed by 74. Freshman Kevin Li shot 78-80—158 for a 48th place finish.
Junior Jack Wilson came in at 159 after shooting 81-78.Sophomores Connor Lynch and Chad Carlson each shot 163, with identical scores of 81-82.
Brown returns to the links next weekend, October 4-5, at the Macdonald Cup, played at the Yale Golf Course.
