
Women's Lacrosse Nets Six on IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Six members of the Brown women's lacrosse team were named to the 2014 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll in an announcement made by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association. The IWLCA honored 238 junior and senior student-athletes from 80 institutions that claimed a GPA greater than 3.50.
Brown's Julia Carrellas (Middletown, R.I.), Marissa Dale (North Salem, N.Y.), Janie Gion (Northfield, Ill.), Grace Healy (Bellport, N.Y.), Erin Roos (Wilmette, Ill.), and Hannah Organschi (Guilford, Conn.) all earned Honor Roll accolades. Dale (Neuroscience), Healy (History), and Roos (Community Health) all were Academic Honor Roll selections for the second consecutive season. Last week, Brown earned IWLCA Merit Squad status after topping the nation with a 3.55 cumulative team GPA for the 2013-14 academic year.
Katelyn Miller of Bucknell was named 2014 Division I Scholar Athlete of the Year.
