Jones Stands in 16th in Men's Epee at NCAA Fencing Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Brown fencing sophomore Simon Jones (Louisville, Colo.) stands in 16th place in the men's epee field after three rounds at the NCAA Fencing Championships at French Fieldhouse on Saturday.
The NFC All-Star won seven of 15 bouts on the day for a -4 differential. Yevgeniy Karyuchenko of St. John's holds the top spot in men's epee with 12 wins and a +15 differential, while Jones' efforts help Brown hold to 16th place in the team standings.
Jones returns to action in tomorrow's final day of championship action. Sunday's semifinal and championship bouts will be broadcast live on ESPN3.
