Beach, Lehan Tabbed As NEWISA Second Team All-New England

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Junior midfielder Charlotte Beach and rookie back Maclaine Lehan earned NEWISA Second Team All-New England accolades in an announcement made by the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association.

The duo were among 25 All-New England selections for the Division I level, while Lehan was only one of five freshman to be recognized.

A back-to-back Honorable Mention All-Ivy selection and tenacious competitor, Beach (New Haven, Conn.) earns Second Team All-New England honors after posting two assists in 2014 and providing a notable presence in the midfield.

Lehan (Shrewsbury, Mass.) proved to be a vital cog of the Brown backline this season, as the freshman never left the field in 2014, logging all 1,594 minutes of action. A Second Team All-Ivy selection, Lehan was the first Brown rookie to earn All-Ivy recognition since Lindsay Cunningham in 2005.
