
Cross Selected To Play In 2014 NEWISA Senior Bowl

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's soccer captain Chloe Cross has been selected as one of 22 Division I New England soccer players chosen to compete in the 2014 NEWISA Senior Bowl. The annual gathering of New England's top collegiate soccer seniors is slated for Saturday, Dec. 6, on the campus of Merrimack College at 2:30 p.m.
Cross, the Seattle, Washington native, ranks 10th all-time on the team's goal scoring list with 22 strikes and 11th overall with 51 career points. A Second Team All-Ivy and NEWISA Second Team All-New England selection as a junior, Cross led the Bears with 19 points that season, including a career-best seven goals. She is also a back-to-back recipient of the Denis Chartier Memorial Award as the team's leading point scorer.
In 2014, Cross led the Bears with six goals and 13 points, including her first career penalty kick conversion against Delaware on Sept. 7.
