
Phil Estes Coaches Show Debuts Tonight

Providence, RI - The popular Phil Estes Coaches Show debuts tonight, Thursday, September 13, with Brown head football coach Phil Estes analyzing the upcoming season and commenting on Brown's opening game at Holy Cross on Saturday. Scott Cordischi, the voice of Brown football, will host the show each Thursday evening throughout the season on WPRV-AM790 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Brown fans are invited to attend the show at Hope Street Pizza, listen live on WPRV-AM790, or listen on the internet at BrownBears.com. The Phil Estes Show will be held at Providence area restaurants, with the first five shows at Hope Street Pizza, located at 720 Hope Street on the East Side of Providence.
Estes is entering his 15th season as head coach of the Bears and has won more Ivy League Championships (three) than any coach in Brown football history. He is the second winningest coach in Brown football history with a career mark of 85-54.
Brown's football team opens its season this Saturday afternoon against Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass. The Bears return home for the third ever night game at Brown Stadium, a nationally televised game against Harvard on September 22, with kick-off at 4:30 p.m.
