
Bears Fall To Cornell and Columbia

Providence, Rhode Island - The men's squash team opened its Ivy League season by dropping matches to Cornell, 9-0, and Columbia, 6-3, at the Kate Brodsky Squash Pavilion.
Brown had solid play in several matches against the Lions, with sophomore Blake Reinson leading the way with a 3-1 win at number two, 11-0, 9-11, 11-6, 11-7. Junior Eamon O'Connor posted the longest win of the afternoon, taking five games to earn an 11-9, 10-12, 8-11, 12-10, 11-8 victory at number four. Senior Tucker Bryan was also victorious with a workmanlike match, winning 11-8, 4-11, 11-9, 11-7.
Cornell took eight of the nine matches by a 3-0 margin, with Bears' senior John Obverbeck falling at number five by a 3-1 margin.
