Brown women's lacrosse head coach Keely McDonald '00 has announced that rising seniors Alexa Caldwell (Middletown, DE), Tori Conway (Upper Arlington, OH), and Paris Waterman (Newark, DE) have been named captains for the 2011 season. All three have been valuable contributors since their arrival at Brown in the fall of 2007, and will look to lead the Bears both on and off the field.
A midfielder, Caldwell has played in all 46 games over the
past three seasons, starting 36. Last season, Caldwell finished
fourth on the team in scoring with 20 points (18g, 2a), while

all-time at Brown, and 43 career draw controls, which ranks
18th all-time at Brown.
A defender for the Bears, Conway has played in 40 games during
the past three years, starting 19. A valuable member and of the
defensive unit and spark to the transition, Conway tallied nine
ground balls, three draw controls, and three caused turnovers in
2010. She will enter her final season with 26 ground balls, 10 draw
controls, and 13 caused turnovers.
A midfielder, Waterman had a breakthrough season in 2010,
