
Megan Tuohy '12 Wins WGAMI City Amateur Championship

Indianapolis, IN - Brown junior Megan Tuohy continued her outstanding play in the off-season with a first place finish at the Women's Amateur Golf Association of Metropolitan Indianapolis City Amateur Championship, played at the Meridian Hills Country Club, June 7-10.
Tuohy, who finished 11th at the Ivy League Golf Championship, earned a 3 & 2 win over Michele Nash to capture the individual title after winning four previous matches to reach championship.
The WGAMI City Amateur is the longest running golf championship for women in Marion and surrounding counties, dating back to 1921. Alice Dye and Nancy Fitzgerald, both are eleven-time champions of the tournament.
