
Kagawa & Walker Earn Fall Academic All-Ivy Honors

Providence, RI- The Ivy League released its fall list of Academic All-Ivy honorees, with 10 Brown student-athletes being recognized. The five males and five females were starters or key reserves on their respective varsity teams and carry a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average.
WOMEN:
Katie Hyland, Sr., Field Hockey, History (Riegelsville, Pa.)
Second team All-Ivy; Played in every game of her career to set the Brown record for career games played (68).
First team All-Ivy; Started all 17 games helping the Bears post a 1.11 GAA and six shutouts.
Lauren Pischel, Sr., Women's Cross Country, Biology (La Jolla, Calif.)
Brianna Williamson, Sr., Women's Volleyball, Development Studies (Cincinnati, Ohio)
2010 CoSIDA/ESPN All-District selection; Ranked third on Brown in kills (182) and digs (228).
MEN:
Evan Coleman, Jr., Men's Soccer, English (Amherst, Mass.)
Honorable Mention All-Ivy; 2010 CoSIDA/ESPN First Team Academic All-District.
Patrick Conroy, Sr., Football, Business Economics (Leesburg, Va.)
First team Academic All-American; First team All-Ivy.
Brian Ellixson, Sr., Football, COE-Organizational Studies (Havertown, Pa.)
Second team All-Ivy selection.
David Walls, Sr., Men's Soccer, Economics (Leeds, England)
NCAA third round competitor; Co-Captain; Second team All-Ivy; Helped defense to 11 shutouts.
