PRINCETON, N.J. - The Brown men's tennis team opened the fall season over the weekend, competing at the Ivy Plus Invitational at the Cordish Family Pavilion and Lenz Tennis Center. Part of the tournament was also played at Yale's Cullman-Hetman Tennis Center.

Several matches were not played on Sunday due to rain in the area which forced matches inside to a limited number of courts. Brown was among the teams that did not play its singles matches on the final day.
Freshman Roger Chou (Austin, Texas) won his first collegiate singles match in the Lenz Division on Friday with a 6-2, 6-1 victory but fell in his second match to the eventual champion, Rafael Wagner of LSU.

For doubles play, Litsky and Lam dropped their first match in the Silver Division but came back to win their second, 8-5. The duo won their championship on Sunday, defeating St. John's, 6-4. Siniakowicz and Chou lost their first match in the Gold Division but bounced back in match two, winning 8-6. The team reached the championship match but lost, 6-2.
At Yale, the second site of the tournament, sophomore Teddy van Eck (Rye, N.Y.) and freshman Alan Arocho (Norridge, Ill.) teamed up for an 8-6 win in doubles in their first match before being edged, 8-7 (3) in their second match of the day.
