A former standout women’s basketball student-athlete and assistant coach at Brown University, Colleen Kelly returned to Brown Athletics as the Manager of Student-Athlete Admissions & Financial Aid in September 2015 after receiving her MBA in Global Finance from Bryant University in August 2015. She served as Brown's Assistant Director of Athletics, Admissions & Financial Aid until April 2022, when she was promoted to Associate Director of Athletics, Recruiting and Retention. In August 2024, Kelly was promoted to Senior Associate Director of Athletics, Recruiting and Retention/Senior Woman Administrator/Title IX Coordinator.
While pursuing her MBA, Kelly worked at Hasbro Inc. as a Global Consumers Insight team member. Her primary responsibility at Hasbro was to design, manage, and execute market research projects for Hasbro’s online community of families and kids, including survey/discussion guide development, data collection/interviewing, analysis, and reporting.
Before her time at Bryant and Hasbro, Kelly was Brown's assistant women’s basketball coach from 2009 to 14. She also coached at Colgate University and Longwood University.
Kelly is a 2006 Brown University graduate with a Business Economics degree. She was a women’s basketball team member, reaching the 1,000-point milestone and earning Second Team All-Ivy as a senior. In 2005-06, Kelly helped the Bears win an Ivy League Championship, finishing 12-2 in Ivy League play.
Kelly lives in Warwick, R.I., with her husband, Greg, and two children.
