Former Johns Hopkins lacrosse All-American StevenBoyle joined the Brown coaching staff in 2011. Anative of Derry, New Hampshire, Boyle’s focus at Brown hasbeen working with the offensive schemes and the development of theattackmen and offensive midfielders.
"The man lives, breathes and eats this profession,"said Brown head coach Lars Tiffany. " It is not hard to see that heis a son of a coach. Steve bring an intrinsic connection tothe game and exceptional intrinsic value to our organization. Having coached with us for three years, I have witnessed hisgrowth and development as a intuitive and keen offensivecoordinator. Boyle is 2010 graduate of Johns Hopkins with a BA in PoliticalScience, and a three-time All-American for the Blue Jays. Heplayed for Hopkins 2007 NCAA Championship team, and earned the BobScott Award for Outstanding Freshman Performance.
Boyle led the Blue Jays in goals, assists, points (32, 23) (55points) as a senior and was named Hopkins’ OutstandingAttackman for two years (2009 and 2010). He was the 12th overallpick in the 2010 MLL Draft by the Boston Cannons. He has continuedhis professional career with the Rochester Rattlers.
In 2010, Boyle was an Assistant Coach/OffensiveCoordinator under head coach Rick Brocato at St. Paul’sSchool For Boys in Baltimore.
