Sal Gualtieri joined the Brown University Athletic Communications staff in August of 2024.
Prior to arriving on College Hill, Gualtieri served as the Associate Director of Athletic Communications at Wagner College.
Gualtieri served as the primary contact for Wagner's women's basketball, men's and women's lacrosse, women's soccer, field hockey, men's and women's water polo, and women's fencing programs at Wagner.
He also served as the Digital Media Specialist at Williams College in Williamstown, MA. He was tasked to create in-game and post-game highlights for all home and playoff events. Additionally, he created mini-documentaries for larger sporting events to promote across all Williams College social media platforms.

Before accepting the position at Williams, Gualtieri spent three years at his alma mater, Salve Regina University, where he worked as the play-by-play broadcaster and Sports Information Assistant. He developed story lines and collaborated with color analysts in preparation for each of the Salve Regina broadcasts.

Gualtieri earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Salve Regina in English Communications and Sport Management in 2019.
