Laura Cooke joined the Brown football program as the Coordinator of Football Operations prior to the 2024 season.

Before coming to Brown, Cooke served as the Bingocize Program Coordinator for the East Bay Regional Coalition, teaching several classes each week. She also worked as a Senior Admission Reader for 20 years in the University’s Admissions Office and served as a member of the admission committee.

Cooke earned three degrees from Cornell University, including a bachelor’s degree in biology/genetics, as well as a Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in plant breeding/education.

Laura and her husband Paul have three children, Noelle ’21, Andrew ’22 and Declan. Noelle rowed at Brown from 2017-2021 while Andrew rowed at Brown from 2018-2022. Declan is a member of the men’s lacrosse team at Notre Dame.
