Jurence Mendoza joined the Brown women’s tennis coaching staff in 2025-26 as an assistant coach.
Mendoza came to Brown after spending two seasons at the University of California Irvine as an assistant coach. Prior to his time at UC Irvine, Mendoza played tennis professionally. He was also a member of the Philippine National Team, ranking first in singles in the Philippines from 2019-2021. His career-high ranking is No. 53 in the world in ITF Juniors.
Mendoza played collegiate tennis at Oklahoma State University from 2014-2018. There, he achieved a national collegiate ranking of No. 85 in singles and No. 31 in doubles.
