Joey LaMore joined Brown as the Assistant Director of Athletics, Business Operations in September 2024. He comes to College Hill after most recently spending two years at Georgetown working in football operations and the department’s business office.

At Georgetown, LaMore spent the 2023-24 academic year as a Budget and Planning Analyst, managing budget allocation and tracking cost centers for each of the department’s teams.

LaMore spent the 2022 football season as the Director of Football Operations for the Hoyas, overseeing the team’s budget, along with team travel and administrative operations.

As an undergraduate, he held a summer internship at the U.S. Naval Academy preparing financial reports and creating marketing and promotional content.

LaMore graduated from Gettysburg College in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in organization and management studies, double minoring in writing and business. He was a four-year member of the Bullets' football team as a cornerback. He graduated ranked No. 10 all-time in program history for passes defended and ranked tied for the conferecne lead in passes defended his senior year. He later earned a Masters of Sports Industry Management degree from Georgetown in December 2022.
