Jeremy Blake-Johnson joined Brown Athletics as the Senior Associate Director of Athletics, Business Operations & Revenue Generation/Chief Financial Officer in July 2026 after previously serving as the Associate Athletic Director, Chief Financial Officer at Florida Gulf Coast University and as an Assistant Athletic Director at Merrimack College.
During his time at Florida Gulf Coast from 2023-26, Blake-Johnson acted as the Associate Athletic Director, Chief Financial Officer/Athletic Operations, serving as a member of the executive staff, with operational oversight of the business office, ticketing, event management, and facilities units. His sport supervision duties included the softball, women’s soccer, and cheerleading programs.
As the Eagles’ Chief Financial Officer, he managed the department’s $18,500,000 operating budget to ensure complete fiscal responsibility and compliance across 15 varsity athletic programs. Blake-Johnson directly led revenue generation efforts through ticket sales and facility rentals that amounted to over $1,000,000 annually and 24 percent annual growth.
Prior to FGCU, Blake-Johnson held several roles with Merrimack, including as Assistant Athletic Director from 2021-23. As an Assistant AD, he directed operational efforts in the areas of marketing, ticketing, game operations, club sports, and campus recreation, generating over $2,000,000 in external revenues and aiding the institution’s enrollment driver efforts through club sport recruitment.
With the Warriors, Blake-Johnson also served as the Manager of Marketing and Ticket Operations (2019-21), the Interim Director of Campus Recreation (2020-21), and as an Intern to the Director of Athletics (2018-19).
Blake-Johnson earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Merrimack in 2018 and a master’s degree in business administration from Merrimack in 2019. During his time on campus, he competed as a student-athlete on the Warriors’ baseball team from 2014-19.
