While in school, she obtained the CrossFit L1 and the ACE personal training certification, which allowed her to become a personal trainer for University of Northern Iowa. After graduating, Jamie started coaching in the Chicago area. This allowed her to coach a wide variety of individuals, from youth to the elderly population, all with different experience levels. Over the years this evolved into different roles as a coach where she coached group classes, developed programming, coordinated events, and managed membership sales and retention.
In 2016 Jamie went on to take the USAW L1 at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. This shaped her desire to master the techniques and initiated her journey into competing in the sport of olympic weightlifting and then eventually coaching USAW registered athletes at local meets and at the national level.
Jamie currently holds the USAW L2, Precision Nutrition L1, CrossFit L2, and CrossFit L3. She has a passion for leveraging her wealth of experience to help her athletes develop and be the best they can be.
