Dante Cecil joined the Brown gymnastics program as an assistant coach in August 2025. Cecil joined the Bears having spent the previous three seasons at Springfield College. At Brown, Cecil will assist with coaching vault and bars.

Cecil served as a graduate assistant coach for the men's program at Springfield College from 2023-2025 and was named 2024 ECAC Assistant Coach of the Year, helping Springfield make the team's third-straight NCAA Division I Nationals appearance, the first time an NCAA Division III school had accomplished the feat.

Cecil also has prior experience as the women's gymnastics coach for Pioneer Gymnastics and Woodward PA. He graduated from Springfield College with a B.S. in Marketing & Business Management in 2023 and with a M.Ed in Athletic Leadership in 2025.
