Christopher Prizio joined Brown as a Sports Performance Coach in November 2025. He
oversees the physical development of men’s soccer and women’s crew, while assisting
with other varsity teams across the department.
Prior to Brown, Prizio was awarded the NSCA Foundation Assistantship, which he completed at Quinnipiac University in Fall 2025. There he supported athletic development across multiple varsity sports, primarily assisting with men’s/women’s hockey and men’s/women’s basketball.
Earlier in his career, Prizio gained experience across several collegiate and private-sector programs. He served as S&C Graduate Assistant at Springfield College (August 2024–June 2025), leading programming for men’s lacrosse and women’s volleyball, and teaching a 200-level Intro to S&C class. During the summer of 2024, he completed a Sports Performance Internship at Yale University, assisting primarily with football. He also coached at TF Performance (June 2023–May 2024) and completed a year-long internship at Springfield College strength & conditioning in 2023, supporting over 20 varsity teams. Additionally, Prizio served as a Biology Graduate Fellow in 2024, instructing undergraduate students in human anatomy and physiology.
Prizio is a native of Trumbull, Connecticut, and earned both his Master of Science in Strength and Conditioning (2025) and Bachelor of Science in Applied Exercise Science (2023) from Springfield College, where he completed his thesis, The Acute Effects of Palm Cooling on Bench Press Work Capacity, and competed on the men’s soccer team. Prizio is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the NSCA, and is Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) with the CSCCa. He also holds CPR/AED/First Aid and Functional Movement Screen Level 1 credentials.
