Amelia Bashy joined Brown Athletic Communications staff in July of 2025.
Prior to arriving at Brown, she worked with Long Island University Athletics, Cape Cod Baseball League, and the Orleans Firebirds in their media departments.
She attended Hofstra University where she earned her bachelor's degree in audio/radio production and social media design. At Hofstra, she participated in WRHU, HEAT Network, and the Hofstra Chronicle, covering Hofstra Athletics and New York Islanders home games. She also worked with Hofstra's Marketing and Communications Department photographing campus events and home games.
