Aimee McDermott joined the Brown University Athletics HR office in April 2023. In her role, McDermott supports the Athletics Division in all HR requests.

Prior to arriving in Athletics, McDermott spent two years as Operations Manager with the Behavioral and Social Sciences Core at Brown. She also served as an Administrative Coordinatior with the Brown University Center for Health Equity Research (Sept. 2015 – Nov. 2021) and as Administrative Assistant with the Brown University Department of Philosophy (Aug. 2011 – Sept. 2015).

She received a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Arts in Library Science from the University of Rhode Island.
