Arthur Gaskin has served as head coach of the men’s and women’s squash programs since October 2021. Gaskin will serve as the head coach of both the men’s and women’s programs as the clubs transition to varsity status for the 2026-27 season.
As the head coach of Brown squash, Gaskin led the men’s team to the club national championship title three years in a row from 2023-2025 and piloted the women’s team to a pair of national championship wins in 2023 and 2025, and a runner-up finish in 2024.
Gaskin also served as an assistant coach at Brown during the 2017-18 season.
In addition to coaching duties at Brown, Gaskin has been the head pro at PVD Squash since 2017 and has served as the Squash Director at Moses Brown School in Providence since the opening of the Gorgi Squash Center in 2018. In 2024, he took over as the High Performance Coach for Squash Ireland where he works with the senior men’s and women’s National Teams, managing the team’s training and competition schedules on the PSA World Tour as they prepare for the 2028 Olympics.
Gaskin has worked with all levels of squash players from beginner to elite. He served as the Head Squash Pro at Ipswich Sports Club in the UK from 2011-2012, also was a private coach for six U.S. junior athletes, which included a U.S. national champion, and a U.S. Open champion.
As a player, Gaskin is an eight-time Irish National Champion, a four-time winner on the PSA World Tour, and a 14-time finalist. He competed on the PSA World Tour for 14 years and has represented Ireland at multiple European and World Championships, amassing 106 caps for his native country.
