Before Brown: Member of the football team at the Brunswick School that captured the 2023 NEPSAC championship…One of three seniors on the Brunswick football team that was selected to the Team Council…Also played basketball (PF) and lacrosse (M)...Served as team captain of the varsity prep lacrosse team for two years.

Personal: Son of Kristina and William Schmitz…Has three sisters, Caroline, Georgia and Elisabeth…Both parents attended Brown in the Class of 1995 where his father was a member of the Bears’ football team…His sister Caroline is a member of Brown’s Class of 2021.
