Dempsey Quinn joined the Brown coaching staff last season as a quality control coach for defense and was elevated to running backs coach during the spring in 2017. In 2018, Quinn will be the Bears' tight ends coach.

Prior to Brown, Quinn served as the head football coach at Berkshire School, a co-educational boarding school in Sheffield, MA, where he also taught math. At Berkshire, In Quinn's first season, he lead the football team to their first winning season in nearly a decade and a league championship during his second season at the helm.

A 2011 graduate of Cornell University, Quinn earned his Bachelor's of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations. He was a four-year letter winner and two-year starter at safety for the Big Red. Quinn served as a game captain four times during his junior and senior seasons, including twice against the Brown Bears.

He and his fiance, Julia, reside in East Providence.
