Sean Hendricks, Ed.D. Senior Associate Director of Athletics, Student-Athlete Development Sean Hendricks Ed.D. joined Brown in May 2022 as the Senior Associate Director of Athletics, Student-Athlete Development. At Brown, Hendricks oversees the student-athlete development unit, and student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC). Hendricks spent two years as Assistant Athletics Director for Leadership and Personal Development and Chief of Staff of the Cameron Institute for Student-Athlete Development at the University of California, Berkeley. At Cal, Hendricks designed, implemented, and evaluated student-athlete development programs supporting 850 student-athletes. These programs included a leadership series, SAAC, programs to help first-year student-athletes, and a captain's program.   Hendricks joined Cal after 12 years at Rowan University, where he served in various roles, including Assistant Vice President of Academic Support Programs. At Rowan, Hendricks designed, implemented, and led programs to support the holistic development of students.  A football student-athlete at Towson, Hendricks earned a bachelor's in health sciences. He received his master's from McDaniel College and a doctor of education (Ed.D.) from Rowan in 2014. |

Jen Miller-McEachern Student-Athlete Development Senior Manager, Academic Services and Career Development Jen Miller-McEachern joined the Brown University athletic department as the Assistant Director of Athletics - Compliance in the summer of 2018 after spending four years at the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference’s (NEWMAC) as the Assistant Director/SWA. In her role at the NEWMAC, Miller-McEachern was responsible for governance process, timeline and management of all sports, sports information directors, athletic trainers, SAAC, officiating and administrators committees and handbook/sports manual updates. In addition, she produced championship timeline, policies and process, seeding, sites, officiating, awards and automatic qualify submissions for championship events. Concurrently with NEWMAC, Miller-McEachern was the Executive Director at the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA). She administered and enforced the association’s policies and procedures, and worked hand-in-hand with the association’s administrators and coaches.  From 2003-2014, Miller-McEachern served as the director of Varsity Equipment Operations for MIT. In that role, she managed a staff of three full-time employees and oversaw all administrative aspects of equipment for the department and the 33 varsity sports that MIT sponsored. From 2004-2009, Miller-McEachern was also the head women’s gymnastics coach for the Engineers.  A native of Fairport, New York, Miller-McEachern earned her bachelor’s degree from Springfield College in Elementary Education and was a four-year varsity gymnast for the Pride. She also has a master’s degree in Sports Leadership from Northeastern.  |

Victoria Mealer-Flowers Senior Manager, Community Engagement and DEI Programs Victoria Mealer-Flowers joined the Brown University Athletic Department as the Student-Athlete Services Intern in September 2015. She became the Student-Athlete Services-Coordinator during the 2016-17 academic year and became the Program Manager, Student-Athlete Support and Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives in Spring 2021. Prior to Brown, Mealer-Flowers served as a compliance graduate assistant at the University of Connecticut, where she provided assistance in daily operations of the office, including game contracts, search committees and NCAA rules. Additionally, she was a member of the Wellness and Performance Committee, working to promote a positive impact on student-athlete welfare. As a student-athlete, Mealer-Flowers put together an impressive track & field career at UConn, where she served as team captain from 2011-13. She was a seven-time NCAA All-American in the weight throw, hammer throw and shot put and four-time NCAA Northeast Region Field Athlete of the Year. A 2012 graduate of the University of Connecticut with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies, Mealer-Flowers earned a Master of Arts in Human Development and Family Studies and Master of Science in Sports Management in 2015.  |

Danielle Burrell Student-Athlete Development Coordinator Danielle Burrell joined the Brown University Athletics Student-Athlete Development office in the May of 2023. Â Prior to arriving at Brown, Burrell made stops at the Professional Association of Athlete Development Specialists and at Whittier College. At Whittier, Burrell served as Coordinator of Compliance and Student-Athlete Success and notably led the 40-member Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Â Burrell graduated from the University of Miami in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She received her Master of Science in Educational Psychology at Mississippi State University. Â |
