2013-14: Garnered Second Team All-Ivy honors … Earned three victories in both the East Stroudsburg Open (Nov. 17) and the Navy Classic (Nov. 23) … Captured dual bout victories over Bucknell (Jan. 18), Clarion (Jan. 18), Harvard (Feb. 15) and Boston University (Feb. 15) … Represented Brown at the EIWA Championships (Mar. 8-9) where he earned two victories and placed seventh.
2012-13: Competed in 14 bouts … Picked up dual meet victories in the Bears’ wins against Rhode Island College (Jan. 19), Sacred Heart (Feb. 23), and Boston University (Feb. 16) … Recorded a win in the Bears’ match against Maryland (Jan. 12) … Represented Brown at the EIWA Championships.
2011-12: Competed in 17 bouts … Wrestled in three different weight classes … Picked up six victories, including dual meet victories over Sacred Heart (Jan. 20) and Rhode Island College (Jan. 28) … Earned a sixth-place finish at the Keystone Classic (Nov. 20).
Before Brown: An NHSCA Senior Nationals All-American and two-time state champion at Bishop Manogue High School … Four-time state place-winner, amassing 193 career wins, while placing four times at the state tournament (first in 2011 and 2010, second in 2009 and third in 2008) … Showcasing his athletic ability, McDonald was also an All-State defensive back for his football team.
