Lexi Pellegrino Named Ivy League Co-Offensive Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Senior Lexi Pellegrino of the Brown field hockey team was named Ivy League Co-Offensive Player of the Week, the Ivy League announced on Monday afternoon.
This past weekend, Pellegrino helped Brown earn two victories. First, she led the Bears with six points in a 4-1 win at Columbia (Sept. 26). Pellegrino found the back of the net twice while dishing out two assists.
In Brown's 4-0 win over UMass Lowell (Sept. 28), Pellegrino recorded a team-high six shots and a team-high five shots on goal. Over the last four games, Pellegrino has 16 points. She ranks first in the Ivy League with seven goals and 17 points.
Pellegrino ranks fourth in program history with 32 goals and is six goals away from breaking the program record. She also ranks sixth in program history with 71 career points, she is four points away from moving into fourth in program history.
This weekend, Pellegrino and the Bears will welcome Cornell on Friday, Sept. 3 at 3 p.m. before hosting Maine on Sunday, Sept. 5 at 12 p.m.
