
Men's Soccer Selected Fourth in Ivy League Preseason Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Ivy League announced its 2025 preseason poll results on Monday afternoon, with Brown predicted to finish fourth.
Last year's regular season champion Penn was chosen to repeat, earning 10 first place votes and 120 points. The Quakers also won the inaugural Ivy League Tournament Championship in 2023. Defending Ivy League Tournament Champion Princeton, was chosen to finish in second place alongside Cornell. The Tigers earned five first place votes, with the Big Red earning just one. Both teams closed out the poll with 107 points.
The Bears checked in at fourth place with 66 points. Dartmouth (59), Harvard (58), Yale (33), and Columbia (26) followed behind Brown.
Last season, the Bears were selected fifth in the preseason poll. They finished the regular season tied for fourth place with Harvard. The Bears beat the Crimson when they met earlier in the season, giving them the advantage and sending them to the Ivy League Tournament.

The Bears will open their 2025 campaign when they host Holy Cross on Friday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. Brown will begin conference play on Sept. 27 when they host the Dartmouth Big Green at 7 p.m.
