
Women's Tennis Announces Class of 2027

Head Brown women's tennis coach Lucie Schmidhauser has announced the program’s incoming freshman class. Set to make their way to campus are Dani Ben-Abraham, Hannah Shen, and Anne Yang.
“I am excited to welcome our 2027 freshman class," said Head Coach Lucie Schmidhauser. “With the addition of these three highly accomplished players, we are adding even more depth and experience to our team’s roster. I look forward to working with these young women as they enter the next chapter of their tennis and academic lives here at Brown. I know that Dani, Anne and Hannah are extremely excited to be a part of our team, our athletic division and the overall Brown community.”

Why Brown: “On my official visit to Brown, I fell in love with the school’s atmosphere. My main reason behind choosing Brown is for the opportunity to explore my interests through an amazing open curriculum. I’m so excited to be working with Coach Lucie because she’s really engaged and committed to getting the best out of everyone on the team. The girls on the team have a close bond, and are really supportive of each other."

- Helped team win the CIF Championship freshman year
- Two-Time National L2 Doubles Champion
- National L2 Singles Finalist
- National L2 Singles/Doubles Third Place
