COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Junior Imogen Govan and freshman Lucy Adams were named to the 2022 NFHCA Collegiate Watch List late last week. The list represents student-athletes from the Division I, II, and III level with the strongest potential for consideration to the 2022 NFHCA All-Region and All-America teams.
Adams and Govan are two of the 115 Division I student-athletes named to the Watch List. In total, 32 Division I programs had at least one student-athlete named to the list. Three other Ivy League programs – Cornell, Princeton, and Penn – also had athletes named to the Watch List.
Cornell and Syracuse led Division I programs with nine selections apiece.
Govan played in Brown's opening weekend and finished with five points. She recorded two goals and added an assist in Brown's 4-3 overtime win over 24th-ranked Miami (Ohio), scoring the overtime winner to give the Bears the win over the ranked opponent.
Adams has played in all six games for the Bears in 2022 and has a goal and two assists for four points. The Andover, Massachusetts native scored her first career goal against Bryant and added an assist in Brown's most recent match against VCU.
Brown opens Ivy League conference play this Friday (Sept. 23) at home against Yale (4-2, 0-0 Ivy League). Friday's game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. and will stream on ESPN+.
