Field Hockey's Pellegrino Named All-ECAC

DANBURY, Conn. – Brown University standout first-year Lexi Pellegrino added to her decorated 2022 campaign with All-ECAC honors, announced by the Eastern College Athletic Conference Friday (Dec. 16).
Pellegrino picks up All-ECAC honors in addition to First Team All-Ivy and NFHCA Second Team All-Northeast accolades.
Pellegrino is one of 13 student-athletes named All-ECAC. To be eligible, a student-athlete must be named First Team All-Conference in their primary conference. There are two other Ivy Leaguers on the All-ECAC squad: Yale's Theodora Dillman and Princeton's Beth Yeager.
The Westwood, Massachusetts native led the Bears in goals (10) and points (24) in 2022 and recorded at least a point in her first nine collegiate games. She scored a goal in seven straight games during the stretch and capped the scoring run with consecutive game-winners over Sacred Heart and Dartmouth.
Pellegrino ranked ninth in the NCAA in goals among first-years and was one of three in the Ivy League with double digit goals.
In addition to classmate Lucy Adams, Pellegrino is the first freshmen named to NFHCA All-Region teams.
