PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Brown Athletics is set to compete in one home event (sailing) and multiple away events this weekend. Below, you will find the most up-to-date listing of our spring-sport schedules. You can also find the information under each respective sport's "Schedule" section. Dates and times for all contests are subject to change.
All home events will be closed to all spectators. In addition, spectators will not be permitted for the remainder of the 2021 spring season. Attendance at away games will be dictated by the host institution.

Track & Field at UConn Northeast Invitational
Date: Friday, April 23

Preview: Brown track & field will compete in its second weekend of competition this year after opening its season at the Ocean State Invitational on April 9. The men will kick off the weekend on Friday at the UConn Northeast Invitational.
Men's Lacrosse at Boston University

Preview: Brown men's lacrosse returns to competition for the first time since a thrilling 14-13 upset win over No. 8 and defending national champion Virginia on March 8, 2020 – a span of 410 days. Senior Luke McCaleb (Chevy Chase, Md.) needs two more goals to become the 14th player in program history to reach 100 scores. Senior Phil Goss (San Francisco, Calif.) is also chasing a milestone, and needs 26 stops to become the program's all-time leader in saves.
Women's Crew at Boston University with Holy Cross

Preview: Brown women's crew is set to race in its first away event this spring when the Bears take on Boston University and Holy Cross on the Charles River. Brown will race for the second time this season after sweeping all four races from Rhode Island in its season and home opener on April 3. Against the Rams, the Bears became the first Brown Athletics team to compete in 388 days and competed themselves for the first time in 524 days.

Preview: Brown will host its first event of the season when the Bears take on the University of Rhode Island in Narragansett Bay. Sailing out of the Ted Turner '60 Sailing Pavilion and Edgewood Yacht Club, Brown will race at home for the first time as a varsity program. The event will feature a 3-on-3 team race regatta with Brown having 17 sailors competing in Z420s with two teams from each school. The Bears are coming off a pair of New England titles last weekend as Brown won the NEISA Women's Championship and NEISA Coed Championship in New London, Conn., in their first weekend as a varsity program after a 13-month hiatus from competition,

Preview: Brown will seek its third New England Championship of the season when the Bears race at the NEISA Team Race Championship on Sunday. Last weekend, the Bears captured both the NEISA Women's Championship and NEISA Coed Championship in their first weekend of racing as a varsity program following a 13-month hiatus from competition. Sunday's event will feature seven of the top teams from New England with the top three teams qualifying for the ICSA Team Race National Championship. The U.S. Coast Guard Academy and Connecticut College will co-host the event sailed in Z420s. The Bears will travel with a maximum of 10 student-athletes.
