Spring Senior Spotlight: Devon Jack, Women’s Tennis

Brown University athletics will be recognizing the senior student-athletes who had their spring seasons canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Two senior student-athletes will be featured each weekday on Brownbears.com and various social media platforms, starting on Wednesday, April 1, through the end of May.

Favorite experience as a Brown student-athlete?
"My favorite student-athlete moment at Brown was playing at Texas this year. We played against our head coach Lucie Schmidhauser's alma mater where she is in the hall of fame. I've never been so proud to be a part of this team looking across all the courts during the match and seeing everyone fighting so hard against the best competition in the nation. The match and the whole trip to Texas was one of the most special experiences I've had at Brown with my team."
Favorite class at Brown?
"My favorite class at Brown is Persuasive Communication. I got to hear different speeches written by so many different students at the university and got to present speeches of my own. One of my favorite speeches I gave was a speech where I spoke about what being student athlete means to me."
