Men’s Golf Completes Play at Cornell Invitational

Ithaca, NY – Brown opened its 2019 fall season with a 16^thplace finish at the Cornell Invitational, played at the par of 71, 6,904 yard, Robert Trent Jones Golf Course. The Bears shot 314-313-307—934 over the 54 hole tournament.

Columbia (866) captured the team title by one shot over Bucknell (867), followed by Cornell (869), St. Bonaventure (878), Dartmouth (880), Binghamton (881), Penn (881), Columbia B (883), Temple (884), Canisius (885), Siena (886), Colgate (887), Penn B (897), St. Joseph's (898), Cornell B (909) and Brown (934).

The Bears were paced by a pair of freshmen making their collegiate debut, Luca Jezzeny, who shot 76-73-80—229, and Ford Bennett, who carded scores of 73-82-75—230.

Sophomore Cole Kemmerer came in at 233 (83-77-73), while senio4 Connor Riley shot 84-82-79—245. Senior Kenneth Li finished with scores of 81-85-81—247.

Brown is back in action again next week, September 21-22, at the Dartmouth Invitational.
