Princeton, N.J. - Brown continued its spring season with a 12thplace finish at the 54-hole Princeton Invitational, shooting 286-294-298—878, at the Springdale Golf Club.
Yale (629) captured the team title by 14 shots over Penn (843), followed by Temple (847), Seton Hall (850), Loyola Maryland (851), Georgetown (854), Columbia (858), Princeton (863), Harvard (864), St. Joseph's (876), Cornell (877), Brown (878) and Rider (885).
"We had a really good start, shooting 286," said Brown head coach Mike Hughes. "That's about as good as we can play. Fantastic start by Kenneth (Li). We were inconsistent in the final two rounds, but competitive and trending upwards."
Junior Kenneth Li led Brown and finished 18thindividually on rounds of 68-70-76—214, one over par for the three rounds. Senior Sasha Lobel came in at seven over overall, shooting 72-74-74—220, while junior Chuck Isgar shot 73-73-78—224. Freshman Andy Zhou came in at 225 on rounds of 73-80-72—225, and freshman Cole Kemmerer shot 74-77-76—227.
The Bears compete at the Yale Spring Opener next Saturday, April 13 at the Yale Golf Course in New Haven, CT.
