
Czajka, Rogers Earn Brown Student-Athlete of the Week Honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Women's water polo freshman utility Dagmara Czajka and men's track & field sophomore sprinter Bretram Rogers have earned Brown University Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week honors for the week of Apr. 15-21, Brown announced on Monday.
Dagmara Czajka, Women's Water Polo, Freshman, San Diego, Calif.
Freshman Dagmara Czajka totaled two goals, two assists, two steals, and four field blocks to help lead Brown to a 6-4 win over No. 22 Marist in its regular season finale on Saturday. A native of San Diego, Calif., Czajka scored two of Brown's first four goals and assisted on the Bears' game-winning goal. Her four field blocks helped the Bears limit the Red Foxes to two goals in each half.
Bretram Rogers, Men's Track & Field, Sophomore, Grand Prairie, Texas
Sophomore sprinter Bretram Rogers turned in a runner-up finish in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.10, facing cold and wet conditions in Atlanta at the Georgia Tech Invitational. His time is the second-best time in program history behind only Jamil McClintock '08 (14.04). A native of Grand Prairie Texas, Rogers set a school record in the 60-meter hurdles (7.95) during the indoor season.
