Equestrian Competes at Becker Show in Second Fall Show

PAXTON, Mass. – Brown University equestrian competed at the Becker College IHSA Show on Saturday at the Becker Equestrian Center in its second competition of the fall 2019 show season.

Junior Hannah Woolley (Medfield, Mass.) represented the Bears in open fences, senior Hannah Guevara (Pasadena, Calif.) competed in open flat, sophomore Clara Louvet (Mamaroneck, N.Y.) performed in intermediate fences, and senior Katrina Heilbroner (New York, N.Y.) took part in intermediate flat.

Senior Renee Seto (Barrington, R.I.) and sophomore Elena Newman (Gainesville, Fla.) both competed in limit fences while senior Rebecca Lee (Guilford, Conn.) represented Brown in limit flat.

In novice flat, senior Leah Peipert (St. Louis, Mo.) placed third while senior Cate Marchetti (Hanover, Mass.) also competed. In pre-novice flat, sophomore Maya Taylor (Albuquerque, N.M.) captured second, and junior Audrey Kim (Bronxville, N.Y.) placed fourth. In introductory flat, sophomore Elise Solazzo (Hoover, Ala.) took to the show ring for the Bears.

Next, Brown competes at the UMass Dartmouth IHSA Show on Saturday, Oct. 26 at New Claddagh Farm in Tiverton, R.I.
