Seekonk, Mass. -Â Brown closed out its fall season by hosting the annual Brown Bear Invitational at the par 72, 6123 yard Ledgemont Country and placed eighth overall with a 36-hole score of 615 (300-315). The Bears were paced by freshman Pinya Pipatjarasgit, who placed fourth individually.

Princeton ran away with the team title with a final round 286 to finish at 589 for the two rounds, winning the championship by 15 shots over Quinnipiac (604).  Fairleigh Dickinson placed third (608), followed by Dartmouth (609), Lehigh (611), Albany (611), St. John's (613), Brown (615), Wagner (627), Appalachian State (628), Siena (630) and Monmouth (647).

Pipatjarasgit, who has posted a strong fall season for the Bears, shot 70-75—145 to finish fourth at one-over par for the tournament. An accomplished player, she qualified for the US Women's Amateur and US women's Junior Championship last summer.  Sophomore Brittany Park, the defending Ivy League champion, shot 73-79—152 for 18thplace individually.

Sophomore Winabel McCabe shot 158 on scores of 78-80, while freshman Hailey Freedman shot 79-81—160.  Senior Elizabeth Doykan came in with scores of 86-84—170.

Several members of the Brown team played as individuals, led by sophomore Naomi Lee, who placed sixth individually on rounds of 74-74—147. Freshman Roshannah Gaur finished 15thindividually after shooting 72-79—151. Also competing for the Bears were junior Madeleine Garay (80-80—160), junior Grace Daly (78-87—165), junior Haley Mander (90-83—173) and senior Leah Fowler (94-97—191).
