Men's Squash Sweeps Amherst, 9-0

Providence, R.I. - Playing its fourth match in the last seventh days, the #20 Brown men's squash team swept past Amherst, 9-0, Tuesday afternoon at the Kate Brodsky Squash Pavilion.

The Bears won seven of nine matches by a 3-0 margin, led by senior Thomas Blecher at number one, who earned a 11-7, 11-7, 11-3 decision. Also winning by 3-0 margins were junior Philip Demeulenaere at number two, sophomore Blake Gilbert-Bono at four, senior Thomas Walker at five, sophomore Harrison Boyer at six, freshman William Glaser at seven and freshman John Paul Champa at nine.

There's no rest for the weary with coach Stuart leGassick's squad back in action again on Thursday, January 18 against Dickinson at the Pizzitola Sports Center, starting at 5:30 pm.
