Athletics Hosts Annual Vartan Gregorian School Celebration

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown Athletics hosted its annual Vartan Gregorian Elementary School celebration and banquet on Wednesday night at the Nelson Fitness Center with members of the Brown and Vartan communities coming together for a night of recognition.
Brown student-athletes and administrators teamed with teachers and administrators from Vartan Gregorian School to honor the elementary school children with achievement awards.
Sarah Lucenti '17 – a member of the Brown volleyball team and one of the co-presidents for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) – hosted the event with over 100 attendees. Overall, 18 Classroom Award Scholars from the Fox Point school earned a special certificate of achievement and a gift certificate to the Brown Bookstore.
