BOSTON – Matt McDonnell and Anthony Viteri both scored for Boston University to push the Terriers past the Brown men's soccer team, 2-0, in Tuesday evening's non-conference contest at Nickerson Field.
Brown drops to 3-3 on the season, while the Terriers improve to 3-2 overall.
Senior keeper Erik Hanson (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) stopped four shots for the Bears. Matt Gilbert made five saves on the other end in the win.
McDonnell put the home team on the board late in the first half when he tipped home a rebound at close range at 41:31 for his second goal of the season.
