Brown Hosts Match Play Tournament at Carnegie Abbey

Providence, R.I. - In their final tune-up before next week's Ivy League Championship, coach Danielle Griffith's Brown women's golf team will host the Brown Match Play Tournament on Saturday and Sunday, April 16-17, at the par-71, 6,006 yard Carnegie Abbey Club in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
In a first round matches on Saturday, Brown will play Princeton, while Dartmouth faces Penn. Matches start on the first tee at 11:00 am.
The winners of Saturday's matches will battle on Sunday, along with matches for third and fourth place. Sunday's shotgun competition will begin at 9:30am.
The team champion will be decided on a point system of one point per hole and one point for overall win per match. The team with the most points wins the championship.
